The Wonders of a Small Town Historical Collection

  This morning was spent for an hour at the library, taking photos that had been previously used for other projects and returning them to the sleeves that currently encase them.  With 6 volunteers and not enough time, there is a sense of being completely overwhelmed.  We are so fortunate to have a lot of our history still in our community and the collection reflects that.  After 3 years of talking about getting the software to catalog everything and make it accessible to the public, the preliminary work is daunting but step by step, we are working towards sharing our history in the digital way.  Some mornings this goal seems farther away than others.
