How Enchanted is this Mesa?

  After my issues with Cherry Bloom (I'll save this for a later post) I was looking forward to a potato chip knit that I could just zone out and plug away, especially for when I commute to work.  Using a worsted weight yarn, I went through my stash and pulled out random skeins of yarn and just started.  There was no gauge got, there was no thinking this through whatsoever.  Will I regret having done this? Maybe.  But I love the way this is knitting up and even if it's too big or too small or I've screwed something up (so far that hasn't happened - fingers crossed) there is something freeing with being willy nilly about your knitting sometimes.

  I will have plenty of projects ahead that I need to gauge, plan, and stay mindful of, but the zen of just enjoying the fun of knitting is making this a knit I don't want to end!
